Dear Fellow SNR Alum and Community:

Welcome to our Natural Resources Alumni Web site! I’d like to thank you for taking the time to stop and catch up on information about the Natural Resources Alumni and events. The NR alums are a diverse group ranging in degrees from forestry to soils, fisheries and wildlife to parks and recreation, or perhaps environmental science. Even though we all have different backgrounds and degrees, we all are an important part of the School of Natural Resources and Mizzou.

While pursuing my degrees in Forestry and Fisheries and Wildlife, it became very easy to become part of the School of Natural Resources. For many it can be from the friendships and experiences built at Forestry Summer Camp. Or perhaps it can be the memories made on a storm chase across the plains or a trip to Nebraska to watch the sand hill cranes. Whatever your experiences and memories from your time at Mizzou are, they will always be a part of you and the history of SNR. The Natural Resources Alumni Association exists to help you maintain those memories and experiences with fellow alums and facilitate lifelong relationships with your fellow Tigers. We're here to help you stay connected.

Being a member of the MU community was a rewarding part of your college years. Now that you're out of the college world, it's time to get connected... and stay connected... to your roots. The best way to remain a part of that community is a membership in the Natural Resources Alumni Association!

Our alumni and friends are vital participants in the future of SNR. We always welcome your support, involvement and ideas. We strive to constantly participate in student development events such as the world famous “Chillin With Mentors.” Or perhaps you may be interested in helping with our Annual “Trivia in the Wild” where we raise funds to assist in funding student scholarships. We urge you to join us for an alumni gathering or to attend an event on campus. With the ongoing support of our alumni and friends, the School of Natural Resources will continue to be great! If you are interested in the NR alumni group and you’d like to become involved, feel free to contact us, and visit our Facebook group page.
