Forestry Traditions
Summer Camp
Students enrolled in forestry are required to attend a specialized, six-week summer field session in southeast Missouri.
This session includes courses for 6 credits and is recommended between the sophomore and junior years.
Courses include:
- Forest surveying
- Forest utilization
- Forest measurement and inventory
- Forest ecology field studies
- Introduction to silviculture and management
- Forest management planning
